Auction Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

1. Eligibility

Participation in InfraMint auctions is open to registered collectors with a verified account. By placing a bid, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

2. Bidding

All bids are binding and cannot be retracted once submitted. Each bid must exceed the current highest bid. InfraMint reserves the right to reject or cancel any bid at its sole discretion. Bidders remain anonymous throughout the auction process.

3. Reserve Price

Artworks may have a reserve price set by the artist. If the highest bid does not meet the reserve price at the end of the auction, the artwork will not be sold. Reserve prices are not disclosed to bidders.

4. Buyer's Premium

A buyer's premium of 30% is applied to the final hammer price (winning bid). This premium covers gallery services including curation, authentication, platform operation, and transaction processing. The total amount payable by the winning bidder is the hammer price plus the buyer's premium.

5. Payment

The winning bidder is obligated to complete payment within 48 hours of the auction closing. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. Failure to complete payment may result in account suspension and the artwork being offered to the next highest bidder.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Following payment confirmation, the artist will provide a shipping quote based on the artwork's dimensions and the buyer's location. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs and any applicable customs or import duties. These charges are separate from the hammer price and buyer's premium.

7. Authenticity

All artworks offered through InfraMint auctions are original works verified by InfraMint's curatorial team. Each sold artwork includes a Certificate of Authenticity. InfraMint guarantees the authenticity of all auctioned works.

8. Artist Selection

Auction participation is by invitation only. Artists must maintain a minimum rating of 4.0 stars based on collector reviews, have completed at least one successful sale through InfraMint, and pass our verification process. InfraMint reserves the right to select artworks for auction at its sole discretion.

9. Escrow & Payment Protection

All auction payments are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the artwork. This protects both the buyer and the artist throughout the transaction process.

10. Cancellation & Disputes

Auctions cannot be cancelled once live unless by InfraMint administration. In the event of a dispute, InfraMint will mediate between the buyer and artist. InfraMint's decision in any dispute is final and binding.

11. Liability

InfraMint acts as an intermediary between artists and collectors. While we verify artwork authenticity and artist credentials, InfraMint's total liability is limited to the buyer's premium collected on the transaction in question.

12. Governing Law

These auction terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from auction transactions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Modifications

InfraMint reserves the right to modify these auction terms at any time. Continued participation in auctions after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
